Christian McGilton is the founder and leading voice behind the McGilton Advocacy Group, where he helps guide the organization’s mission of promoting government transparency, civic engagement, and stronger community connections. Originally from North Carolina, McGilton attended Austin Peay State University before later relocating to Kentucky to assist his grandfather with work and property management.
Throughout his life, McGilton has maintained a strong interest in community affairs, public policy, and local government. His experiences working closely within communities helped shape his belief that citizens deserve greater access to information, stronger representation, and more direct involvement in the decisions affecting their everyday lives. Through the McGilton Advocacy Group, he works to encourage civic participation, strengthen public trust, and advocate for communities that often feel overlooked or disconnected from government institutions.
McGilton’s leadership is centered around practical advocacy, public accessibility, and long-term community development. His vision for the organization continues to focus on empowering individuals with the resources and knowledge necessary to become more informed, engaged, and active within their own communities.
